Looking for something that will put a smile on your face, make you laugh from deep within, or lift your spirit? The Wonder of It All will do just that! It is a book of poems written by Valerie J. Borgal, beautifully combined with illustrated artwork. Her poems are fun, whimsical, and will make you laugh out loud; some are somber, some will make you think a little deeper, but all will challenge your daily walk with God and others. These poems are creatively portrayed in watercolor and pen and ink, or a combination of both, as well as graphite and scratchboard, to bring a visual complement to each subject.

Valerie J. Borgal:

Valerie J. Borgal is an artist/poet creating art since childhood and writing poetry during her adult life. She has been an elementary and kindergarten teacher, art teacher, and Bible study leader. Her passion is to write about everyday events, spiritual thoughts, adventures, and episodes with people and critters in her life. Valerie graduated from the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts – School of Art and Design in the spring of 1967. She married Thomas Borgal in the fall of that year and now resides in Tewksbury, MA.

Val and Tom have two sons, two daughters-in-law, four grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
